Dance was my first introduction to the art world—it shaped not only how I move but how I see. This series emerged from a study on dance as a language, where the body is both the script and the means of expression. If movement is a form of communication, then the body holds the weight of unspoken words, translating emotion into form.
By framing movement in extreme close-up, I sought to strip away the familiarity of the human form and reveal something more abstract—an interplay of lines, textures, and tension. Muscles shift like ink on a page, shadows carve out fleeting gestures, and the skin, usually seen as a boundary, becomes a landscape of expression. Here, the body is not just a vessel but a story, written in motion.
